  1. I’ll start by saying I don’t really believe you should do something in your home purely for blog content. But that said… I’m very drawn to the last one with the cedar shingles because it’s beautiful and is really the only unique option of the bunch. It’s also the only one I’d look forward to a “how-to” about, especially since all the others were done by other bloggers, so the tutorials already exist – been there done that. For a blogger looking to grow your following, I think that shingles wall is a great option that, if done well, could be all over Pinterest and the blogosphere in no time!

    1. It’s a really fun option, isn’t it?!

  2. I think a wall something like Thrifty Decor Chic did on her landing wood be great and reasonable.

  3. I’ve always really loved your accent wall, it looks so amazing in pictures. But, I also think that you are making changes to your house, and like you said, the style doesn’t really match you – or the changes.

It will be interesting to see what you do with it!

    1. Thanks, Cinny! I love how it looks in photos too – and I still love it so much, it just doesn’t really go anymore.

  4. Hi Amanda!
I think you should go for it – totaly getting the need for change!
Just one mor thought: If you wanted to square moulding you could put the very thin plywood on th wall first, taht would cover the texture and you could stain it instead of paint (and the seams could be covered by the moulding).
Can’t wait to see what you do!
