How far along? 34 weeks
Size of baby: About the size of a butternut squash – still between 17 and 18 inches long and between 4.2 and 5.8 pounds.
Maternity clothes? I’m appreciating them more and more every day. I really had hoped to avoid buying many maternity clothes (and for the most part, I did) but I see a huge difference in how I look in maternity vs. regular clothes, and I’m kind of wishing I had a better maternity wardrobe!
Sleep: More of the same – I toss and turn all night and I’m getting up to to go the bathroom way more than I was last week (at least 2 or 3 times a night, sometimes more). I took a nap several days this past week after work – thank goodness Christmas break has started now so I can get some real rest!
Movement: Lots of his movements are still pretty uncomfortable. I’ve started to notice little feet/elbows/knees (no idea exactly what it is) poking out more and more.
What I miss: Again, more of the same. I’m kind of just at the point where I miss not being pregnant! And I still have 6 weeks to go – I’m in trouble.
Cravings/Food aversions: Still haven’t gotten my Schlotzsky’s pizza, but I did have pizza once or twice this week, so I’m feeling okay about it. Still eating Captain Crunch like it’s going out of style.
Other Symptoms: I’ve been way more tired than usual, and my nesting urges have amped up a bit – I’ve been cleaning like a madwoman since I got off work on Friday!
What made me cry this week: A few cheesy things on television made me tear up a bit. Also had a little sobbing fit in the kitchen one night because I was unreasonably angry about something stupid. Hormones are fun!
Favorite moment this week: Enjoying all of the last minute leading-up-to-Christmas stuff and knowing that next year we’ll have Monster with us for Christmas!
