I’d like to share something that may just blow your mind.
Do you realize we have a mere 13 days until Thanksgiving? Which means there are only TWO WEEKS left until it is socially acceptable for me to decorate for Christmas?
There are no words for how excited I am.
I had a fabulous week this week and every day I get a little more excited about the promise of the extra long weekend that’s coming our way soon. Cannot wait. And, no, I’m not talking about this weekend because my school is lame and we don’t get off on Monday. I have to wait until Thanksgiving. Boo.
But, um, anyways, let’s get to this week’s finds, shall we? I’m sharing a few things that have inspired me in the various blogs that I read over the past few weeks, and I have a feeling you’re going to love what I’ve got for you today.
This post was about the future plans the lovely folks at 7th House on the Left have for their kitchen, but I can never stop drooling every time they post photos of their kitchen, so I wasn’t really all that focused on the subject matter. Their kitchen is stunning and so similar to what Corey and I want to do in our own kitchen, and I just get so excited every time I see it. Love, love, love.
I think it’s been well-established that I’m completely and utterly obsessed with Christmas, and this holiday tablescape post from Centsational Girl got me pretty excited. I love her advice on mixing metallics for the holidays, and I feel like it was well-timed because as Corey and I have begun planning for our Christmas decor (I’m telling you, we have a problem), we’ve realized that we’re going to have to get creative with some silver-and-gold mixing. This post gave me some good ideas!
Loved this post from Jenny at Little Green Notebook about the chalkboard table she painted for her daughters. I’m a huge fan of chalkboard paint, and I think this was such a creative and awesome use for it! And I’m seriously jealous of her girls for having such a well-styled and gorgeous room!
Um, that’s a shoe box. A SHOE BOX. That’s really all I need to say. Amazing.
So, that’s what I was inspired by this week! Anyone else find anything amazing online this week?
