I know all of my random Tuesday posts have been about Hadley lately, and I’m sure y’all are getting sick of hearing about her…
But, um, I’m not quite sick of talking about her yet, and she’s kind of taken over our lives so there haven’t been a lot of non-Hadley-related happenings around here lately.
I’ve been taking weekly photos of her since we got her, at the suggestion of our friend Kyle. She was so tiny and we learned with Ranger that big dogs go from tiny to HUGE in the blink of an eye, so we wanted to capture the changes as much as possible. I thought it might be fun to look back on the first four weeks with Hadley to see how she’s grown – she’s gained approximately 10 pounds since we got her, and she’s looking much more healthy and much more like a “big” dog!
It’s so fun to look back and see how much she’s already grown in the month-ish that we’ve had her, and I can’t wait to see her continue to get bigger! It’s also amusing to see the creative poses I have to get, since it’s almost impossible to get her to stand still longer than half a second. The crown and e-collar come off this week, so next week’s picture will look (a little) more normal, since her ears will just be taped.
Anyone else so obsessed with their pets that you took weekly pictures? Any other silly animal traditions?
