September Means….

Posted by Amanda under Ramblings

Y’all…

I am freaking out about the fact that we’ve hit September. In an awesome way.

Why? Because September is my birthday month? Because it’s Corey’s birthday month? Because it means we’re one month closer to Christmas?

Well, yes to all of those, but that’s not what I’m talking about today.

I’m freaking out because September means the return of 90% of my favorite television shows!

Is that totally and completely pathetic?

Ranger likes television too.

I am so excited to have my favorite shows back – like How I Met Your Mother, Bones, New Girl, and Glee. We’re also planning on trying out a few new shows this season – like Go On and Revolution.

Of course, once October hits there will be a whole other round of excitement as the CW shows start – Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and Gossip Girl (hello, guilty pleasure!) AND sometime in the near future I should (HOPEFULLY) finally get my Mad Men fix fulfilled once again. I’m having withdrawals.

What am I most excited about? It’s a three-way tie: American Horror Story, Dexter, and Homeland. Cannot. WAIT!

What fall shows are you looking forward to the most?

So excited for new TV to be back!!! The list is embarrassingly long of the shows that we try to watch or DVR but on the top would be Dexter, Revenge, HIMYM, Happy Endings, Once Upon a Time, Sons of Anarchy, Mentalist and we’re looking forward to trying Revolution and Elementary.

Can’t wait for HIMYM and The Amazing Race! I saw the pilot for Go On online somewhere already, and I think it’s going to be a great show, so I”m looking forward to that too.

I’m also excited for September! It means (I HOPE) the tiniest bit of cooling here in Central Florida. It also means I can start to obsess about the holidays!!!!!! This is definitely my favorite time of year!

I love HIMYM I need to go re-watch from the beginning and then catch up when the new season starts. Did you hear that Marshall might leave the show? I would DIE! It can’t be a show without him, especially because of their flash-forwards.

What?! I did not hear that – that would be SO awful! We still haven’t watched season 7 – hopefully it comes out on Netflix soon!

I’m so excited about How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, and Glee! I think we could be major TV buddies, because I am a total television junkie. I have about 15 shows I follow on the regular.

I just became hooked on Dexter. I’m almost done with the first 7 seasons, only 4 episodes left. 9/30 can’t come soon enough! Homeland is another favorite and Glee. I liked pretty much all the shows you listed so I feel liek I have to check out the ones you mentioned that I don’t watch. I’ve heard so many good htings about American Horror Story, but I’m kind of too afraid to watch it haha.

American Horror Story isn’t so much scary as it’s just strange and creepy. I love horror movies, though, so it’s right up my alley!

I feel no guilt. Sons of Anarchy, American Horror Story, Ghost Hunters, Dexter, and Game of Thrones (but I have to wait for March for that).

I don’t even want to get into the embarrassingly large number of TV shows I watch…but I am SO excited for fall TV to begin again! HIMYM, New Girl, American Horror Story, Revenge, Happy Endings…etc etc!
