Ah! Friday! You guys! This week was awful! So bad! And it’s almost over!
Seriously, y’all, this was a rough week for me! I’m exhausted and so excited that it will soon be the weekend and I’ll hopefully be able to get some quality relaxing time in.
Today I wanted to share a few blog posts that made me smile this week – these are all from blogs that I follow regularly, and they’re all amazing. I recommend you add ‘em to your list of blogs, stat!
This house tour from House of Fifty is absolutely and completely mind-blowing. Gorgeous, amazing, wonderful, perfect. That’s all I have to say about that.
I absolutely love this moody office transformation from 7th House on the Left! I’m a huge fan of bold colors in rooms, and I think it’s great when people aren’t afraid to try something dark. If you go to the blog and look at the “before” photos, you’ll be blown away by how different the room looks now. I adore it!

I was completely and totally inspired by this post from Maple Leaves & Sycamore Trees! Kat and her husband are planning on doing a brick walkway leading up to their house, and it was an option Corey and I hadn’t even thought of when thinking about and planning our future patio! I love the look of their inspiration photos and I think bricks could possibly be so much cheaper than a stoner or paver patio!
This post from Richmod Thrifter about discovering the genius that is Tuesday Morning made me laugh – I actually don’t think I’ve ever shopped there either, but after reading her post I definitely want to check it out! Apparently there are a ton of them near me, so I have a feeling that will be happening sometime soon!
Posts like this make me so jealous of people who actually have a front porch! Ours is so tiny that my claustrophobia kicks in while I’m standing there with Corey waiting for him to unlock the door! I absolutely love her fall decor, and I wish I could do something similar at my house!

P.S. Today is my brother-in-law, Thomas’ birthday – he’s provided me with a ton of tech support over the life of this blog and if it wasn’t for him, it wouldn’t exist – he even owns the hosting company that hosts this site! He’s awesome, so it would be great if you guys could give him some love!

21. September - 6:25 amI do not know how much stone or pavers are but used bricks at least in St. Louis tend to go for between $0.50-$1 each and they are difficult to find. My husband and I have a wall in the basement we’d love to do in them but we are still searching for a large enough quantity over a year later.

I loved the house comparison post on YHL today. It’s fun to see the changes in both homes and how they compare. I’m also a huge fan of the moving post on A Beautiful Mess because I moved out of a house recently and am searching for one to buy in the upcoming year.. so it makes me feel both inspired and nostalgic.
