Have you ever had one of those days where you go out to buy something small and innocent, like a Slurpee, and you end up coming home with…um… a lot more than that?

Yeah, about that… we recently got a 7-11 right down the street from our house (we used to not have one anywhere near us at all) so Corey and I have been on a bit of a Slurpee kick lately. As in, they’re pretty much all we can ever think about and we might be singlehandedly keeping those people in business. So, one Friday night recently we decided to head out for a Slurpee, and on the way (note: it’s not on the way at all) Corey asked if we could stop by Target to look at their table fans…

…and thus begins the tale of the most expensive Slurpee ever.

We went out for a Slurpee, and we came home with…

A pink faux orchid…

…a few orange-and-white throw pillows (we bought two)…

…a new side table for the living room (LOVE IT!)…

…and that table fan that we originally hit up Target for. We used to have a vintage fan here, but it finally kicked the bucket, and it’s summer in Texas which means my face feels like it is melting off of my body about 90% of the time. So, a fan was pretty necessary.

Oh, and we got a couple of Slurpees too, of course.
