Last week when I shared our vacation photo album, I mentioned that I also made a wedding album while I was at it. Corey and I got married a whole year and a half ago, but we just had never gotten around to making a photo album for ourselves. I don’t know if we were lazy, cheap, or what, but it just never happened.
So when I got this guy in the mail last week after finally deciding to make one, I was so, so excited.

It was so fun to go back through our wedding photos and choose out our favorites to go in the album, and Corey and I both felt a little like we were getting to re-live the day.

The book itself turned out great – like I mentioned last week, it’s hard to really capture the true colors and sheen of the book in photos, but the colors are rich, vibrant, and crisp, and the book is exactly what we wanted!

And, of course, I have to share one of my favorite parts, the back:

So cute. I’m so happy to finally have a wedding album for all of our photos, and I couldn’t be happier with how nice this one is. I splurged for the nicer, matte paper and while it’s not quite up to the standards of what a professional album would be, it’s great for us!
What photo book are you procrastinating on making? Anyone else wait a ridiculously long time before ordering a wedding album? If you want to finally bite the bullet and get ‘er done, you can get 15% off at Blurb through the end of the month by clicking here and using the code 15OFFBLURB!
Disclaimer: Blurb provided this photo book for me, but there were no strings and no requirements to review it – I chose to share it because I love it!
Psssst: All of the photos in my album were taken by the oh-so-amazing Melanie of She-N-He Photography - if you wanna see more information about our wedding, check out all of the details here.

It is so funny that you posted about your wedding album this morning! My husband finally said to me “We should really make a wedding and honeymoon album….” So I spent all day yesterday creating mine. I’m using Picaboo (because there was a great deal that came through on Groupon), but I have heard good things about Blurb and also AdoramaPix.com (I ordered wedding canvases from them that turned out to be AMAZING).
Anyway – yours looks great! So fun creating them!

I really need to get on this. I think I want to do a wedding album, but also a condensed album of my husband and I’s relationship to this point. Kind of like a yearbook. I love that YHL does that.
Were you able to put a title on the binding?

14. August - 6:43 pmIt looks great. I love that you included your post wedding shoot too. The photos are all amazing. I still need to create a book with my weddingbee re-caps, it’s just a huge undertaking so I keep pushing it off.

14. August - 7:16 pmI know that if I didn’t do it right away, I would have never put together our wedding album! Congrats on getting that done. I wish I could get my act together to put all my wedding planning and honeymoon stuff into another album and close off that capture. We’re celebrating 2 year s next week. funny how it lingers.
