This week I had quite a fun challenge for Friday Finds. Leigh emailed me from Auckland, New Zealand and said she’d love it if I could find a few things for her on their local version of Craigslist, TradeMe. It’s basically like eBay but specifically for those living in New Zealand.
I’m not gonna lie – when I first pulled the webpage up I was more than a little intimidated. It’s an unfamiliar format, I can’t organize my viewing the way I’m used to, and the whole auction-style really threw me off. I was worried for a minute that I would have to email Leigh back and tell her that I wasn’t able to handle the pressure, but I finally managed to get the hang of it and I was able to find some awesome furniture at some unbelievable prices!
Please note that all prices listed were the current bid amounts on the items at the time of writing this post.

That second dresser is amazing – I adore the legs and I think it would look fabulous with a two-tone treatment. I’m thinking wood on the outside and white drawers! And can you believe that outdoor set? It obviously needs some work but it is so unique!
What do you think, friends? Any brilliant ideas for how we could make these pieces fabulous?

You definitely found some cool pieces. I love the idea of those chairs at the bottom.
I’m off to see if they are still available.

Awesome! You’ll have to share what you do with them if you get ‘em!
