Our Friday Finds request this week comes from Amber, who claims she can never find anything good in Memphis, and she’s hoping I’ll have better luck.
Well, I think I definitely did okay – there was some super cute stuff floating around on the Memphis Craigslist page, and I actually had a hard time narrowing it down! Let’s get to it.
I’m a sucker for a good office chair, and I think this one is especially cute! I really love the bright orange color and the retro feel of this guy, and I think it would look fabulous in an office or a craft room. And, um, seriously – $25 bucks? Impossible to resist!
Wow. I really, really love this piece. The chunky, curvy legs are completely amazing, and this would be great in an entryway or a spacious hallway. The price is awesome, and with a fresh coat of paint it would be absolutely perfect!
Why do my favorite things also have to be the most expensive things? I am kind of obsessed with this mirror and I think it would look amazing just about anywhere. I think the color on it already is great, but I also think this is one of those things that would look awesome in any color. The detailing on it is gorgeous, and I love how chunky the frame is. Perfection!
Corey has a real big thing for these types of chairs right now – and since he’s the one who did most the scoping out for me this week it’s no surprise that this guy showed up on the list. It’s definitely a bit on the expensive side, but these chairs usually are – and I think it has the potential to be really pretty! With some new fabric and a fresh coat of white paint, it would look great!
Uh yeah – that’s $150 for ALL FIVE PIECES. There’s a chair, dresser, nightstand, desk, and hutch, and I kind of adore all of them. They look gorgeous in white, but they’d (as usual) also look great painted in a fun color. I wouldn’t put these all in the same room, but I think that sprinkling them throughout several rooms in the house would be fun, and seriously – $150 FOR ALL OF IT. That’s ridiculously amazing.
I’ve been lusting after a pretty antique headboard like this ever since my post about New Girl, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It’s incredibly affordable, and I’m dying to get it and paint it a steely gray like the one in Jess’s room. Of course, since we already have beds in both our room and the guest room, we wouldn’t have a place to put it…but it sure would be pretty! Someone get this for me, pretty please, and blog about it so I can live vicariously through you!
And that’s Memphis, my friends. I’m off to suffer through a day of inservice at work and then enjoy a wonderful, relaxing three-day weekend!
What are your weekend plans? Anyone else lusting after a piece of furniture you totally don’t have room for?
