Craigslist Friday Finds is back this week, and you should be excited. Because the finds this week are out of this world amazing. I want to buy every single one of them right this second and put them in my house. I know I say that all the time, but this time I MEAN IT. Corey did the Craigslist sleuthing for me this week and he did an incredible job – I’d buy each and every one of these pieces, and I’d be lying if I said it didn’t already have a place in mind where each of them would fit perfectly in my house.
I’ve got you interested now, right? Well get ready to feast your eyes on some serious eye candy!
Yeah. I don’t know that I even have any words. Corey and I actually called about these (incredibly amazing) barstools today and they’ve already been sold. I wasn’t surprised – $50 for the pair?!?! – but I have to say I was disappointed. These would look amazing in our kitchen since it’ll eventually be a mix of modern, crisp white pieces and more industrial metals like these. I’m pretty sad that we weren’t able to snatch these up before they disappeared, but I’m glad we saw them because it totally solidified the type of barstool we’d eventually like to have in our kitchen!
I’m so obsessed with these barstools that I probably could just leave it at that and not share any more finds. Because seriously, what can top that?
But no worries – I have more!
Corey and I have been seriously crushing on mirrored furniture lately. I can’t really tell you what about about these pieces we are so in love with, but my heart flutters every time I see one of these beauties. Something like this is probably really impractical to actually have – can you imagine how hard it would be to keep the top clean? But it doesn’t matter to me – I think this would look fabulous almost anywhere in our house. It’s a bit small for the entry-way (where we are in desperate need of a console table) but I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard for me to find a perfect spot for this guy – if only he wasn’t so dang expensive!
Yeah – you read that right. Sixty bucks for these cute Ikea chairs (that I’ve always loved so much!) They sell for $40 a piece at Ikea, so getting four of them for $60 is a pretty amazing deal. I think these guys would look really cute spray painted in a fun color and sitting around a little white table (like, maybe, our new tulip table?!) If Corey and I weren’t already so set on finding all-metal chairs for that area, I’d probably be begging him to buy these for me right now!
Y’all have no idea how much it breaks my heart that this dresser is out of our budget right now. I WANT IT SO BAD. I’m not feeling the mirror on the top, but that’s easily fixed – what I do love are the gorgeous brass drawer pulls and the tall legs that leave some breathing room underneath it! This dresser is pretty much exactly what we’re looking for to go with the brass bed in our guest room, but I can’t even tell you how difficult it is to find a traditional-ish dresser like this one that has a bit of a leg on it – most dressers are way too squatty! I’m still mentally debating on if I would leave this guy as he is (the wood tone is beautiful!), paint it a glossy white (my go-to color!), or paint it in a cheerful accent color to modernize it a bit. All I know is that no matter what happens to this dresser, it’s going to look fabulous.
Yes, another mirrored piece! I like that this one is a little bigger and chunkier than the other one, and I love that it has drawers! This one is a much more appropriate size for our living room and I think it would look ridiculously wonderful sitting next to our front door. There’s just something about a mirrored table that’s so glamorous – I love the touch of bling and shimmer it would add to a room! The only thing I don’t love about this piece is that it looks like the trim and accents are gold – I think that silver would have gone much better with the mirrors.
And that, my friends, is one of my favorite Craigslist Friday Finds we’ve had in a long time. I’m still drooling over that dresser – and those barstools! I’m so jealous of whoever managed to grab them before we did!
Now that I’ve confessed my undying love for mirrored furniture, I’m curious what you think. Love it or hate it?
