Can you believe this is the last Friday before Christmas? Tomorrow is CHRISTMAS EVE. Holy cow, that went fast.
My week has been filled with Christmas-light-looking, movie-watching, cooking-making, and lots of sleeping in. I’m excited that Christmas is finally here, but I’m going to miss all of the excitement leading up to it! Next week begins the most depressing week of the year – aka: the week when I have to take down my Christmas tree.
But, let’s not think about that yet! Let’s bask in the glow of one more Christmas Friday Finds before it’s all over until next year.
I’ve seen a ton of really awesome Christmas ornament tutorials lately, but this one might be my favorite. She coated the inside of the glass ball with glue and then added some candy sprinkles – so gorgeous! I love how colorful it is and I think a bunch of these would look absolutely fabulous on a Christmas tree!
Another amazing ornament tutorial! I LOVE that this one has a touch of the rustic feel I love so much for Christmas decorations, and I love the simple elegance of it. This is definitely one that I’m going to try to tackle before Christmas rolls around next year – it would make a fantastic addition to our tree!
Corey and I have plans to go shopping the day after Christmas to try to score some deals on decorations so we’ll be more prepared next year. I am a big fan of bringing Christmas decorations all throughout the house – including the dishes! These guys from West Elm are incredibly adorable and are cute without being too cutesy!
Elf on a Shelf was a totally new concept for me this year – I’d never heard of it until my sister shared that they’d be doing it with their kids this year, and I love the idea! Basically, it’s a little elf who is “sent from Santa” to watch you over the month of December and make sure you’re going to be able to stay on the nice list. When the kids go to sleep each night the elf gets into all sorts of mischief and is frozen that way when they wake up the next morning. My nieces have had a blast with it this year, and Corey and I even got to participate when they spent the night with us this week! Bugsy, their elf, got a little mischievous and mixed up all the cards on our advent calendar (which the girls had been VERY excited to flip over and participate in!) It was a blast to see how excited they were when they realized he had “followed” them here, and Corey and I loved that we got to get in on the fun!
I adore these Christmas word garlands strung across the ceiling. They make a huge impact for almost no money, and I’m all about finding new ways to decorate for the holidays!
And with that, I’ve shared all the Christmas inspiration I have for the year. Next week I’ll do a round-up of some fun New Years things I’ve found, and in January we’ll get back to our normal Craigslist finds!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and a wonderful Christmas!
Since it’s our last chance before Christmas is over – have any awesome Christmas inspiration to share?
