When it comes to Christmas decor, I’m a total sucker for the classic red and green combination. I’ve seen houses decorated beautifully in blues, in jewel tones, and in countless other combinations of colors, but I like to keep it simple – reds, greens, silvers, and whites. It’s one of the few areas in my decorating style that I like to keep things pretty traditional.
Of course, I’m also a big fan of sparkle in my Christmas decor, and I try to keep things sleek and modern looking. I plan to share some details about how our house is decorated for Christmas later this week, but I couldn’t think of a better example of complementary colors than our beautiful green tree accented with a sparkly red ornament.
What colors do you use in your Christmas decor?

27. November - 5:52 pmIt’s all over the place – the hallway is pretty traditional with reds and greens, but the living room and dining rooms are full of jewel tones and pastels. And glitter. Lots of glitter.
