Oh man. If I would have known how many awkward photos of horribly ugly places in our house that this Bingo challenge would have me sharing, I would have thought twice before agreeing to participate!
This is the laundry closet off of our kitchen. It’s tiny, awkwardly shaped, and laid out in a manner that makes it very hard to actually do any laundry.
But oh, do we have plans for it. We plan on replacing our old washer and dryer with a shiny new stackable set, and pushing both off to the left side of the closet, freeing up the right side for some shelving and storage – maybe even a designated spot for our vacuum, instead of having it shoved in the middle of the closet!
Why is this included on a day where I’m supposed to be chatting about wallpaper? Because we’re totally wallpapering this little closet! We’ve always wanted to take on a wallpapering project, but we don’t want to do it in a room where we’ll have to stare at it all the time, for fear we might get sick of it. We love that in this closet the wallpaper can be a nice little pop of fun, but it will be easy to close the door to the closet when we don’t want to look at it. Plus, I spend way more time than I’d like in this little closet taking care of laundry, and I’d love for it to be a bit easier on the eyes – wallpaper would be a great way to add some punch and pattern! I never thought I’d actually be excited about our awkward little laundry closet, but ever since Corey and I started forming some concrete plans for what we want to do in here, I’ve become beyond excited to get started on it!
Do you have any wallpaper in your home?
