Am I the only one who had a work week sent straight from the fire-y depths of hell this week? I know I can’t be.
Not only was it an awful week, but Craigslist was kind of awful too, which is always disappointing for me. But, I suppose that’s how it goes with these sorts of things – some weeks it’s great, some weeks it totally isn’t.
I did manage to find a couple of good things, though, so let’s see ’em!
Okay, so $650 is really steep for this, but they claim the sofa alone cost over $1,000 originally. But, oh my goodness, I want to grab a book and curl up in my backyard with this sofa and a glass of wine. I love the simple colors on it and I think it looks incredibly cozy! The weather around here has been so nice lately, I’ve had patio furniture on my brain – if only we had $650 lying around for us to go pick it up!
I’m not sure why, because it’s not our style at all, but this bed spoke to me. You don’t see wicker headboards very often, and I think that when they’re done right they can look absolutely fantastic in a room. I see this one paired with some bright white, super fluffy bedding and some more modern accents throughout the room. Wicker headboards make me think of lazy Saturday mornings in bed – and although I probably wouldn’t ever buy one for our house, I think I have a pretty major crush on the idea of having one!
I have a big (BIG) thing for super rustic, chunky dining room tables. I almost died when I saw this one, especially for such an amazing price – it would need a giant dining room to help balance it out, but it’s another one of those things that if it was done right, it could look breathtaking. It looks like it has some gorgeous grains on the top, and do you see how thick that tabletop is? Absolutely gorgeous. Love it!
And with that, I’m off to survive my last day of the week. I have high hopes for today – if I start to struggle I’m just going to remind myself that Corey and I are going (fake) Christmas tree shopping this afternoon!
Okay, so now it’s your turn to complain. Was your week as hellish as mine?
