If I had enough money, I would go and buy every single item on this week’s Friday Finds. Right away. And I’d be incredibly happy with each and every purchase – I’m telling you, it’s a good week for Friday Finds here on L&R.
I am having a bit of a love affair with brass beds right now. I’m not quite sure where it came from, but I know it all started when I decided that I want to go for a sort of frilly, girly look for our guest bedroom. Somehow it took off from there and now I have to have a brass bed rightthissecond for that room. And guess what? I’m in luck because Corey’s mom has an old one that she’s agreed to let us have! So, get ready for a post all about that in the next few weeks. But, I will say that if we didn’t already have a brass bed coming our way, I’d be snatching this baby up – only 30 bucks!
Oh em gee, I love this bench. It’s gorgeous and unique and I think it would look absolutely fabulous in our backyard. We are really wanting to add some seating and various furniture out there, and this would be an amazing way to do it!
I think we’ve all learned by now that I’m a sucker for a good mirror. Lately I’ve been craving a nice, big, super ornate mirror to put in our entry way. This one isn’t quite as ornate as I’d like, but I still think it’s great and I’d be more than happy to find a home for it! I love the pop of color on the frame, and I think it would look fabulous in a bathroom or a hallway!
Another amazing mirror. This one would look great in our dining room – I’m hoping to someday get a starburst mirror to place on the back side of our fireplace, but I think that this one could have a similar effect as the starburst mirror would, but at a much better price!
Love, love, love. Love enough that I’m seriously considering buying it. Corey and I can’t agree on whether we would use it in our guest bedroom (once we get Ranger’s kennel out of there, of course) or if we’d put it in the entry way. I vote entry way, he likes the guest bedroom. I think it would look fabulous painted a nice bright color (I’ve really been feeling emerald green lately) and placed under a gorgeous (large and ornate!) mirror. I want it!
Oh, um, this is a post about furniture right? Oops. Couldn’t help myself! I’ve had kittens on the brain lately and I’m dying to adopt one. Corey and I are tossing around the idea of getting one over Christmas break when I have a couple of weeks off, but that’s not stopping me from drooling over all of the cute little babies on Craigslist. This one stood out to me as extra adorable – I love the mischievous look on his (her?) face!
And now that I’ve mentally spent over $400 (plus the cost of adopting a cat), I should probably stop. You know, before I get a wild hair and actually buy everything on my list. Be sure to come back next week because I’ll be back to share details of the big project Corey and I are planning for this weekend, as well as a failed DIY project that I had been really excited about – hate it when that happens.
Where do you stand on the dresser issue? Entry way or guest room? And should we bite the bullet and buy it? I’ve only spent the last 15 minutes staring at it longingly!
