Oh my goodness, it’s FRIDAY! Finally!
This week has been rough and I’m so incredibly glad it’s over – and that we have a three-day weekend coming our way! Once again, Corey put together the finds this week, so let’s see what he found for us!
(Craigslist Austin– $60)
Um, hello pretty chair! I absolutely adore the intricate, swirly back of this chair, and if there were three more of them I’d be dying to snatch them up to put around our breakfast table. Totally drool-worthy! Of course, I’m not in love with the color – I’m all about a black chair, but with that fancy pattern on the back, it feels a bit too heavy and formal. It’d like it in a nice, airy (what else?) white!
(Craigslist Austin -$250)
This is pretty much the exact same dresser as Corey’s dresser that’s in our master bedroom! There are a few minor differences, but it makes me pretty happy to know that we got Corey’s dresser, my dresser, AND a matching mirror for what they’re asking for this dresser. Not a bad deal at all!!
(Craigslist Austin – $200)
Oh man, if only this wasn’t $200. I love the curvy legs on this guy, and I have a few places in mind where I think it would look fantastic! This would look good painted a bright white, a soft gray, or ANY fun and punchy color you can think of – I love pieces like this! I’ve also learned lately how valuable extra drawers can be…it’s so nice to have random little drawers throughout the house to stash little things that don’t have another home!
(Craigslist Austin – $230)
Hmm. Corey mentioned to me that he threw a “wild card” into this week’s finds, and I’m betting this is it. I’m not quite sure what to say here. Is that a dresser styled to look like a stack of suitcases? Very, very strange. And so completely not my style. What do y’all think?
(Craigslist Austin -$300)
Oh, those chairs! This is actually only $300 for the table and the four chairs, which is an amazing deal. I have some serious love for those amazing chairs – and for once I might even keep them exactly as they are! I love the green fabric on them, and the detail on the back is to die for. The table I’m not so in love with, but I’m sure I could do something with it to make it fabulous!
(Craigslist Austin – $100)
Ohhh he saved the best for last. That chair. I die. I’m
minorly completely and totally obsessed with mid-century style chairs and this one is no exception. This is another one that I would leave exactly as-is. It’s perfect in every way…and I totally want to bring it home with me right now!
I hope you all have a fabulous Labor Day weekend! I’m taking the day off from blogging on Monday so I can enjoy my day off to the fullest – you have no idea how excited I am!
Are you doing anything fun this weekend?
