Y’all cannot possibly imagine how happy I am that today is here. I’m in an extra good mood today because it’s the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! Which means my summer is about to officially begin! Growing up, I never realized that teachers are probably even more excited for summer than the students are, but oh my goodness, it’s so true!
Corey and I have a big, exciting weekend of house hunting ahead of us, and I can’t wait to come back and tell you all about it on Monday!
I’m pretty excited about this week’s Friday Finds, because it’s the first week that Corey and I actually purchased one of the things listed! I won’t give away which thing we bought yet, but let’s play a little guessing game and see who can get it right! 🙂
I’ve had a thing with chairs with lines like this for quite some time now. As usual, the fabric on these chairs is pretty terrible, but I’m not afraid of a reupholstering project! Especially when the description of the post says that they’ve been reupholstered (not professionally) recently, so it’s obviously something that’s possible to do at home!
Love, love, love. I’ve always wanted a big chaise like this in my bedroom! The reupholstering on this one would probably be quite a bit harder than other projects, but it would be ohhhh so worth it. Can’t you just picture how amazing it would be to curl up in this beauty with a book on a Saturday afternoon?
This. Mirror. Is. Amazing. That’s really all there even is to say. It’s so incredibly gorgeous and would look amazing with a new color, hanging in an entry way or above a dresser. Drool!
I thought these retro dining chairs were so cute – and they were under $100 for all four! I’m not sure if they’re solid wood, though, so who knows if you can re-stain them, but they’d look really good around a little breakfast table!
My sister recently bought an old dresser that she plans to repurpose as a media console in her living room, so when I saw this dresser on Craigslist, I immediately thought of how great it would look in a living room! I’d replace the hardware on it, and I may repaint it a different color, but it would look great sitting under a television, no?
And that’s it for this week!
What do you think Corey and I bought? Do you have any plans for the weekend?
