This week? IT SUCKED. It was bad. So, so bad.
I won’t bore you with the details, but just trust me when I say that this week has been one of the hardest weeks I have been through in a very long time.
When I have a terrible week like this, I always try to find an outlet for my feelings – something that I can do that is completely mindless and I can just lose myself in for a few hours.
Now, before I admit to you what my stress relief this week has been, you have to promise not to laugh. Because, it’s dorky.
Really, really dorky.
Are you ready? Remember, you promised no laughing!
Yup, there it is. I just admitted that I still play The Sims. It was a bad addiction back when I was, oh I don’t know, TWELVE, and it just never went away.
I know that it’s a bit ridiculous, but sometimes it just feels good to turn on a completely mindless game and let go for a while. I’m able to forget about the hard week I’m having, and I usually feel at least a little better once I turn the game off.
So yeah, I play a game meant for children, and I like it.
But, I know that I can’t be the only one who has a hobby that is a bit…abnormal. There has to be some other people out there who are slightly embarrassed by some of the things they enjoy. So, spill. What is your embarrassing hobby? And, if you don’t have one, what do you do to calm down when you’re feeling super stressed out?
