I love Instagram. Love it.
I can basically never get tired of scrolling through my feed for inspiration. It’s probably a problem. But I’m not gonna stop.
As much as I love finding new accounts to follow on Insta, I also am pretty particular about the accounts I follow. I really like accounts that focus on a unique angle (like really specific accounts), or accounts that have a good mix of aspirational photos versus I-can-actually-achieve-that photos. I don’t want to walk away from my Instagram session feeling like I everyone else’s home is better than mine – I want to walk away feeling inspired to try something new in my own home.
I thought it would be fun to round up a few of the accounts I’m loving the most lately – and I’m always looking for more good accounts to follow, so be sure to tell me your favorites in the comments!
10 Home Decor Instagram Accounts You Should be Following
I love this new roundup account from Sherry Petersik of Young House Love. She shares nothing but gorgeous pink photos, and it makes me smile every single time one of them pops up in my feed. Who doesn’t love a good pink photo?
I will never get tired of Studio McGee’s gorgeous style. Not only do they share their own beautiful designs, but they also do a fantastic job of finding photos from other designers and bloggers and sharing the best of the best. I would be happy if my entire house looked exactly like this feed.
Brit has an absolutely gorgeous, accessible style and I love seeing what she’s up to. Her kitchen makes me literally swoon a little every time a see it. That open shelf!! The cutting boards! The tile!!
HOW FUN IS THIS ACCOUNT?! It’s nothing but photos of gorgeous and unique floors, and I love seeing all of the different patterns and designs. It blows my mind how many gorgeous flooring options are out there, and it makes me want to pay more attention to the tile I see when I’m out and about!
I have been a huge fan of Myquillyn’s blog and style for years. Her home is what dreams are made of, and I love her casual, imperfect style. When I read her blog or see her photos pop up in my feed I always feel so inspired to try new things in my home and really go for it, even if it doesn’t end up perfectly. Plus, she’s a master at stunning flat-lay photos, which always make me smile.
We’re back in business in the bedroom and it feels so good! I’ll be sharing more about our new floors from @flooranddecor soon but I’m so obsessed and can’t believe how much of a difference they make. It feels like a totally new space! I’ve still got lots of decorating to do but I’m taking my time while I switch some things up and find some new pieces. I’m also totally nervous to hammer in that first nail! 😬 hence why the painting above our bed is just leaning against the wall 😂 TGIF friends!
Bre is one of the most talented bloggers I know and I adore seeing what she’s doing in her home. Her home is what my home aspires to be when it grows up, and I smile every time one of her photos pop up on my phone.
I used to tell people who came over to remember the saying “don’t judge a book by the cover”. Because the front of our house was…in a bad way. Last summer we made some changes and this summer I made a few more. So here it is all ready for summer! You can win $500 to makeover your front porch or outdoor space by using the hashtag #DesignTheOutdoors head to @jossandmain for details or to my blog and to see the before of our home and details!
Brooke’s home is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s not one of those homes that feels unattainable or too perfect. She shares great little tips and ideas that anyone can do, and her home looks so incredibly cozy, perfectly casual, and full of life.
Every photo on this entire account turns my face into that heart-eyed emoji. Seriously, I can’t get enough. The neutral colors, the gorgeous texture, the adorable baby. It’s just the best.
Yet another feed full of stunning homes, rooms that are so pretty they make me want to cry, and design decisions that are so smart they leave me feeling like I can conquer the world. Seriously – SO MUCH inspiration!
